i need help to get to the cave i dont know where it is

does it have something to do with the the shopman thing

because i cant find more than 7 gold pieces

The salesman does nothing in particular, I guess. The cave is to the north of him in the cliffs, can't remember the exact directions... you can find it by looking closely at the vines there.
