Hey all - I thought I'd replay this awesome triology. I am playing FB2-rewrite and wanted to play as a magician vs. fighter this time around, but now I am stuck, here goes:

I am at the point where I already solved faces puzzle, completed Monster Valley, returned to Fairy, went to Shoreview, killed Wizard in West Mine, visited Ezra's grave, killed slayer. Now when I go to back to Fairy to hopefully be sent to Magician's Boot Camp, the Fairy says nothing. I am stuck on what to do next - to get to the Boot Camp so I can follow the Magician's path

Anyone got an answer what I did wrong or something I missed?

Am I alone out there? No one to help me

It's been forever since I last played that dmod when it was first released in its extremely buggy form. I don't think there are many people here who will be able to help you with that problem and doesn't look like that's mentioned in the walkthrough.

That's probably true .

I have been following the walkthru Ted Shutes wrote on the rewrite to the tee & after I meet the Wizard/turned Slayer in the West Mine & kill him, get "lesser nuke spell", report to Mayer, see Ezra's grave, kill slayer, then head to see Fairy according to walkthru he is supposed to send me to Magician's Boot Camp. But the Fairy & Mayor say nothing, UUUGGGGGGG.

I am so bummed, I already played thru as the warrior a while back, thought I'd check out what it was like to go the Magician route . Love, love, love this triology, worth a replay from time-to-time
