I'm in the underworld by the town and in the screen there are 2 rocks which I think that I need to move or something, can anyone tell me what to do here?

That is the same exact area that I am stuck at. I think that somewhere to the far east - there is a duck that has a jewel of some sort. Then come back to the underground caves to put that jewel into the statue that is missing a eye. I'm going to try this out, if it works I will let you know.

OK - Here is what I did. I left the underground and went all the way to the East then North. Look for the little duck walking to your left. Go North just past the duck - then East and you should see a SAVE area. Shoot a fireball to the South to get rid of the tree. Walk thought the new path you just opened. Go to the east and "TALK" to the duck and you will take a jewel from him.
Now go all the way back to the underground area. Go North and look for the statue that only has one eye. Touch him and you will be teleported to a area that has a chest. Open the chest to get the "POWER GLOVE". Now touch the statue to go back to the underground. Now make your way back to the start point where you entered the underground. Now take the EAST path and make your way to the place where there are the giant rocks blocking your path. Use the POWER GLOVE to move these.
