A few questions on d-mod creation...

I have decided on my first d-mod, and it shall be called "Dark Moon Rising". I am using the Dinkcraft graphics for this (reason being, I played SabreTrout's "A Knights Tale" and though I found it fun, I think the graphics could be put to better use).

I was wondering how many sprites can there be on screen at any one time? I am making the sprites smaller, and am going to try and get a strong feeling of many troops, in a real war.

thats a cool name. uh, i think the max is 199 or 200 sprites. after you get to the limit, the others just dont show up. the thing is, if you want to use all of the graphics by taking one of redinks mods, they are totally buggy. try to edit them and you will see... i dont know about knights tale though if you were going to use that, but if you are interested, i have a bug free skeleton that uses all of the warcraft graphics from dinkcraft. without the messed up things.

Max is 99 per screen, but that includes Dink, so you can put 98 sprites on screen. If you put 99 on them and Dink walks onto that screen, you're thrown out of the game.

Not quite right. 98 his how many you can place on a screen in (win)DinkEdit. You can create more from scripts, up to the 200 figute given before, or there abouts.
