The Dink Network

Hey all:

I was playing PQ (love it, btw!) and had a funny thing happen when I was checking my stats. After I checked them, then my map (while I was underground in a cave), I couldn't get out from either screen; they just went back and forth. Finally, my direction keys brought the cave back.

But now, hitting the "s" key does nothing. I've quit the game, restarted my machine, but no help.

So my "s" key is disabled, which makes it very tricky to figure out what on earth my luck, agility and honor might be.

Any ideas?

Buy a new keyboard. Or re-install the keyboard drivers. Or re-install Dink.

Dink and keyboard drivers reinstalled. The "s" key is still not working in the game. My keyboard works fine everywhere else in the application and out of it, so I don't think they keyboard is the problem.

I think it's probably related to the odd little stats/map back and forth I had right before the key quit...anyone else have any ideas?

I've also deleted and reinstalled the entire DMod, and used a backup version of my saved game.

When I start a new game, the "s" key works fine. But in my saved one (which is a little more than halfway through...I really, REALLY don't want to start over), the key doesn't work.

Sigh.
