Daniel, there are clowns.
Horay! Let's all gather around the Anzi Pole and sing Anzac Carols as we feast on roast groundhog.

Anzac Day is the day in which the beaches of Gallipoli were stormed by the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. (ANZAC) alongside the British. It also was a massacre, because of a collosal screw-up by Churchill. Turks were waiting on cliffs that flanked the beaches, and soldiers fell in scores, cut down by snipers and machine-guns seconds after getting out of their ship. Another four beaches, being attacked by the Brits, were collosal screw-ups. This was just the start of nine months of battle, in which 450,000 Allied troops died. Now, every year on April the 25th, thousands flock to Anzac Cove in Gallipoli to remember the dead. Strangely, Australians and Turks now have enormous respect for each other, presumably due to the skill of the opposing side each side saw. And even in little towns and villages in Australia, we have ceremonies and remember the dead, along with the members of the RSL.

Mildly deranged.
Ah, Anzac Day...I'd really like to go to Gallipoli one year. But I don't even go to the dawn services, I keep having to work instead.

What cruel person would enforce trench warfare, it doesn't even have a use but life-wasting distraction

Did you know that the evacuation from Gallipoli by the ANZACs, was successful and no one died. It was led by ANZAC officers
