dink edit
ive got a big problem with dink edit. i know i'd be asking a lot for some one to tell me what im doing wrong, because i'd imagine thats near impossible... anyway, every time i go on to a certian screen, dinkedit freezes, and i have to use ctrl alt and delete. normaly i would just forget about it, (as you can happily go onto that screen when playing the dmod) but i have to edit hardness there. anyway, its unlikly anyone knows whats wrong, but if the same thing happend to you it would be cool if youd tell me how to fix it... heres some stuff that might be important to you...
there are a hell of a lot of sprites on the screen that have been trimmed into nothing...

Download Windinkedit on the dvelop. that is way easier than dinkedit
Yes it's possible, but you must make backups. There are cases where things go wrong when you switch from DE to WDE or vice-versa.
AHA! ive just figured out the problem, i used screenmatch, and that caused there to be too many sprites... unfortunatly, i cant download windinkedit because my dad wont let me download since my computer got a virus. is there any way to delete sprites in dinkedit without entering the screen?
Tell him I wrote WDE and if he has a problem with it, he can call me and I will tell him to suck a fat one.
he's just paranoid. mabye i could download tonight, i say it was on an old disk i found...
WDE is totally safe to download as it has been downloaded by many users. I also started with Dink Edit, but now, I use WDE and I think productivety has increased with 250% at least.

Well that certainly went wrong....
It not only increases your productivity, it also increases your post count 
ive got no dout that its safe to download, its just my dads wierd...
