I'm in port town. I'm pretty much set to talk to the Tinker and move on with the game BUT

1) I don't have any bombs to open Dragon Realm
2) People in the castles won't talk to me

Where can I find a bomb?
Why won't those mini-quests activate?

Tried using the token to get back to previous level, doesn't work.

The men upstairs (or is it the ones downstairs?) in the pub sell bombs. Mini-quests open only if you need to improve your honour to find the one tree. If you already have the Basilisk scale, then the mini-quests want open.
