skinhead started way before punk did, and punk was the first of anything remotely hardcore in the music world. there was no white power skinhead bands and they only thing they listened to was ska and reggae. skinhead is not about being racist it is A. patriot B. working class C. a bond, its about unity, not hatred. now, the true skinhead scene, which is pretty much mixed with the oi/hardcore punk scene, has NOTHING to do with racism. however, some losers decided they liked hitler and since they wished they were cool like skinheads and hard-ass wannabes they started neo-nazi "skinhead" bands and such. they are NOT skinhead, you know nothing about skinhead, and you should realize that these people are nerds and real skinheads would kick your ass any day of the week for being a dork.
oh, and whatever happened to the "hammer-skins" and "aryan nations" ??? they got shut down by the real skinheads who saw how much of a threat these "boneheads" were to their scene. (bonehead is what a real skinhead calls a racist skinhead) and whatever happened to the lead singer of skrewdriver, that neo-nazi white power band that all you losers listen to? he was drunk and drove his car into a freakin tree. follow your leaders. hitler blew his fudgein head off, pal.
Actually, aryans as Timo describes are not aryans. Aryans are Hittites, I don't know who their descendants are, but they were from the Middle East and they are most well known for giving the Indo-European language, of which all European, Middle Eastern, and Indian languages come from.
