Well, if Mystery Island is the only D-Mod that works, then have you checked if you've installed the D-Mods correctly? In case you have Dink Smallwood installed here:
C:\Program Files\Dink Smallwood
then a D-Mod should be installed like this:
C:\Program Files\Dink Smallwood\dmod\
where dmod is the name of the directory where you've placed the D-Mod. This name can't be long and cannot have any spaces. Place all the files in a D-Mod's zipfile in that directory. Then you can start the D-Mod with DinkFrontEnd by looking for the one.
Also, take a look here for help on how to install D-Mods correctly.
