"How drunk is he?"

Max Payne is SOOO drunk, he forgets to drop behind cover again after he pops out to shoot at enemies! *badumpish*

*crickets*

"Get off the stage!"

Ok, so Max Payne does indeed snap back behind cover too slowly, sometimes not at all. Is it because he's drunk, or are the pain killers clouding his mind? Maybe he's just old and forgets. Whatever the case, it's costing me lives. The problem, however, isn't the game. It's my controller.

See, some time ago, I must have thrown my PS3 controller at someone or something, because I had to fix it. The L2 trigger was out of alignment, and I did the best I could for what little technical knowhow I possessed, and although she wasn't brand new anymore, she still did the job. Most games I played from there on in did not require vital use of the L2. The only game that I remember being very annoying to play with a busted L2 trigger was Disgaea 2, because it kept causing the camera to change. I dealth it. It was a turn-based SRPG. No big deal.

But Max Payne 3 is a big deal. You take cover, you peak out and take a shot or two, you take cover again. So... when your L2 is sticking, it means Payne's sticking his head out a second too longer. Thick skulled ex-cops can only take so many glancing shots to the cranium before it's Game Over. This morning, I got a few too many of those screens (very simply put, "DEAD"), so I figured enough is enough. Went out and bought a new controller today.

IT'S BLUE!

But it cost was too much... After six years of release, controllers are still so much...

So yeah, back to playing Max Payne 3. The best hangover remedy (HA! Get it? Remedy! REMEDY! HAHAHA! ... *ahem*) appears to be a new controller.

Has anyone else played teh game? I don't like his baldness.
