About the new Batman movie
What do you guys think about the new upcoming Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises? I'm kind of afraid that it will turn out disappointing like about every other third installment. Well, at least Nolan has said publicly that every third installment always sucks, so he tries to avoid that, which gives me a little more hope. How do you guys think it will turn out? 
I don't know enough about it yet to predict the outcome. I really like the first two, so I hope he can maintain the quality for the whole trilogy. I think he'll succeed though, because I haven't seen one bad Nolan movie.
It'll be interesting. The only third entry that I can think of in a trilogy that was excellent was Last Crusade, but Temple of Doom was pretty crap. I thought Return of the Jedi and Alien 3 were good movies, but they didn't quite measure up to their predecessors. I found all the LOTR movies to be awesome, but that was a continuous story so that doesn't quite count.
I was up in Fitzroy, Melbourne the other night and I saw an old Batman bobble-head in the window of an antiques/ memorabilia store complete with blue cape. Now that's the way Batman should be
I would much rather prefer they made a dink Smallwood movie now that's a real superhero movie.
If it were a Dink Smallwood Superhero movie, it'd have to be based off of Smallwood-Man! and I'd be the director, writer, and producer! w00t!

Dark Knight was awesome when Heath Ledger played as Joker but now since he's gone....
i hope there are awesome plays like in previous movie.
i hope there are awesome plays like in previous movie.Heath Ledger was... good, I won't deny that. However, I feel his acting skills were kind of overexaggerated because of his death. I think he did as good of a job as Jack Nicholson did with his Joker role. The characters are quite different so I don't usually compare them, but I think they did quite an equal job.
