What was the URL of the old forum?
I remember following a link from some thread to a Wayback version of the old forum, but I can't find it now. Does anybody have that?
For a quick look at the layout you can check out some of the old, not yet updated pages.
Ah, I found it. This is what I remember seeing:
http://web.archive.org/web/20011220234205/http://dink.telefragged.com/cgi-bin/board/index.cgi
That's the earliest capture the Internet Archive has of that version of the forum. It has posts that are even older than the oldest thread here.
And before telefragged.com, the Dink Network was at http://dinknet.virtualave.net, but the Internet Archive doesn't have captures of it from before the site moved.
And before that, it was at http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Lair/6414/index.html, but the Internet Archive doesn't have any captures of that at all.

Oh, and you may be interested in this interview with Mike Snyder, aka Wyndo, who wrote the first D-Mod outside of RTSoft.
