Most Germans DID NOT have blonde hair/ blue eyes. These were attributes of people within Adolph Hitler's ideal world, a people bright and fair. They are also latent attributes that will eventually die out if not carefully preserved. Red hair, incidentally, is even rarer and, IMO, more beautiful.

Hitler's leaders organised "kidnappings" from areas such as Poland to propagate these attributes as per "Lebensborn"
