help?

I've downloaded WinDinkEdit.plus and some tutorials to learn how to make a dmod. It all worked fine on windows xp. Now, on windows 7, after few minutes, message shows up: this program has stopped working blah blah blah, close program, or find solution on internet. You know... usual message when something is wrong. Well, how to make it work again? And how long does it take to learn how to build a dmod? I only menaged to create a crapy house interior and script four objects in it, after two hours.
sorry about my english.

Try re-installing windinkedit.
You'll never fully master the fine arts of dmod creating; but you should learn the basics in from couple of days to maybe 2 weeks (depending if you've done any programming/scripting before) with metatarasals tutorial 'An Introduction to dmod making'.

And check out RobJ's d-mod tutorials, you can find them in the sticky.

No. That didn't help. I guess something is wrong with my computer. Thanks however.
Try updating your graphics card drivers. I remember I had difficulties with my ATI card at one time.
The first thing to always try is compatibility mode. It actually works, occasionally.

Great. Changing compatibility helped. For now.
So, I won't bother you more, and I'll give my best to upload something some day. Thanks for the tips.
