Hi all,
When one is editing one's profile or doing any account maintenance then one's password is needed, this is not apparent when doing changes. Please try http://www.dinknetwork.com/account.cgi?action=Profile and don't touch the password (as its not apparent that it is needed/necessary for the changes to be applied. )

Only change it to

*Current Password: ____________

Thit's the best idea i've heard all day! Everytime i go to change the tagline thing, i forget to type in my 'current password' and it takes me more time than need be.

This is to prevent public access to ones profile. I can think of several scenario's where a user may be compromised if we remove that feature.

that's stupid! I mean, who would really want to steal someone's password to an account to a website that doesn't really ask for important personal information?

Wait...I thought he wanted to just put a little * beside the password box to designate it as important...not take the entire thing out.

instead of '*Current Password ______' itcould be ' Current Password ______'

Uh, Jivan, if you were suggesting that anyone could edit your' profile, you are wrong; for example, when I use the Url that you provided, do I see Jivan's profile information? No, I see schnapper's profile information. This might be a problem if you were accessing TDN in Tal's local library, but that's why there is the "Log Out" button.

He means It should be noted that you have to type out your password to save changes, he CLEARLY said that.
