The Dink Network

This download includes several files for implementing the lantern effect in a D-mod. It also has a small tutorial D-mod so you can see what the effect of the lantern is – if you have not already seen it in some other D-mod in which is it used.

There are two lantern files, this one by Redink1 and the other one is Kindanue's Lantern Flicking. Although Kindanue’s lantern adds a more realistic touch to the lantern, the one by Redink1 gives a more undisturbed, tranquil look at the cave. And where Kindanue’s lantern only lights a small area, Redink1‘s lantern lights considerably more area.

I think both lanterns have their advantages; it all depends on the D-mod author which one he will use.
