Purpose: This programme lets to make a dmod.diz file.

Installation: Just unzip the file and run the godinkdz.exe.

Use: You are asked several questions: name of D-mod, version, month made, day made, year made, your name, your email, your website, and the D-mod description. After having filled in that, the dmod.diz file is made automatically.

Good: It is really easy to use and puts all the information on the right place in the dmod.diz.

Not so good: The readme is a readme.wps file and I could not find the programme to open it with – let alone read it. The newly made dmod.diz will automatically put this line in the file: 'Info on Problematic Dink Diz Pro send internet email to cneal@geocities.com or jeremiah.oneal@fanciful.org with the title -dmod editorclan: 4' so you would have to open the file and delete that line.

Overall: An easy to use programme that could be improved.

Fit for: If you do not want to copy and adjust an old dmod.diz.

I think this is one of the best standalone dmod.diz file creator/editors. It's windows based, clear as to what to type in where, and how to save.

You want something clear and simple, because you're too lazy to copy and past a dmod.diz and open it in a text editor then ... get this one

Any fool can use a computer. Many do.
This freeware Dmod.diz creator program can be used to create a dmod.diz file. It's a very easy to use program, you can enter the data and the program creates a dmod.diz file at the location where you want it to be. Each place where you can enter something has a small text to let the user know what to type there. The program has 4 buttons: Test, Open, Save and Exit. You can use the button Test to see how the descriptionfile looks before you save it, Open, Save and Exit don't really need an explanation. The buttons Open and Save can open/save a dmod.diz anywhere on your computer. There aren't unsupported characters, you can also use the ASCII codes (Alt key) - AFAIK.

Overall: It's a good program for creating dmod.diz files, it's easy to use and it also doesn't create an extra file to construct the dmod.diz file (like Problematic Dink Diz Pro).
