OK what level does one have to be to beat the Dragon in the Forest? He casts 3-4 "Harm" spells, and I'm done for. Whats the secret? Are there any weapons in this game other than your fists and magic?
Also, I found the opening in the fence behind the prize turnip grower, and found the well, but I cant enter it, use it, or talk to it. Am I missing something?

Yeah, you want to have a bunch of defense, and, attack points; but try talking to the dragon first.
You CAN walk around this screen for NOW, but save it for the end. (you'll stand a better chance then).
As to weapons-you don't get any, or, for that fact--magic!!?

There's turnip magic and the turnip sword, but you get them (only one of them) at the end of some sidequests.
To get those sidequests, there's a tree with skulls in the forest. Talk to it.

How do you kill the author? I have the mind protector but can't kill the author - she takes about 24 hit points every time she hits me and is very fast.
