i get a message that i am not coordinated enough

You need to improve your agility. There are a few potions around - one on the hill left of where the Air Spirit appears, some underground. And if you haven't been to the dragon realm yet and still have one of each crystal find a cave entrance near yellow blobs and go dragon hunting. If you have already found the dragon earlier in the game this cave entrance still gives some goodies.
