Phant - an interesting experience

I especially enjoyed the way the bonca house dude tells you there is no plot lmao. But it was weird, the way the enemies never get any easier, and I have to say, I didn't really like that part. But, then again, I'm a wimpy player who tends to consider the monsters as intrusions to my treasure/story plot/secret hunting 
As they grow with me, it doesn't get any faster killing them, and it takes toooo dang long! let me get back to my punching inanimate objects for goodness sake! lol 
But I wonder ~ *is* there a trick to making the fights quicker? (besides of course "kill enemies"
