im up to the part where, i need to find the dwarf to get the ancient artefact.. the problem is that going by dink solutions, once i find the bracelet, im surposed to go to the second town, burn down the tree, get my potions, then make my way north-west to the house with the stairs leading down, there im surposed to extinguish the flames..trouble is,i burnt down the only tree in the second town, and it didnt have a stairway.. and ontop of all that, the house that was south west had not stairs leading down... i cant find the house that has any stairs, i need to get to the dwarf to get the artefact... (am i looking in the right place...please help. (im in the town where all the people in the cave that where hiding, are living again in there houses)

As far I know, you have to get into the forest, to find the water of Kronos. Talk to the guy in the house. You must show him a sign of good will. Now, go to the church. Hit the sign there and bring it to the hermit in the forest. He now tells you exactly where to go.
In the third town (Terris-style at first) go in the south-westernmost house. This one has stairs leading down. And you can actually put out the flames.
What follows is the cave you're looking for.

thanks magicman, iv given the hermit the sign of good will, been back to the hermit, gotten the ice magic, and after that i hit a dead end, i go to the town, all the people that where hiding in the cave are back now, iv found the womans bracelet, i go to the house said in dink solutions, but theres no staircase to go down.iv checked all the houses but none have any stair cases...

Since you've got Iceball magic, you must've been in the castle. Get to the castle, starting in the town with the people that were hiding in the cave. You'll come through another town, which is deserted. Go in the southwesternmost house.
