Well, I thought I'd ask the community. A dinker e-mailed me recently on a bug in prophecy, somehow the user by passed getting the second rune and it bassically screwed up the whole game so the user couldn;t go any further. While inspecting this bug I found several other "easter egss" that allow users to by pass these mission critical parts of the game causing the user not to be able to go any farther, noneless be able to fix it.
A patch is very simple to make for these several bugs, but Gary (the author) has dropped off the face of the earth. Does anyone thing it is wrong on me to release a new version/patc hto fix this? I doubt Gary would mind, but I am unable to get his approval.
