Country is usually about relationships going bad and Jesus and such. I've only heard one political country song, and my dad used to play that crap all the time.
Anyways, I like country lyrics, but the music bores me. It's like every song is exactly the same, and every guitar solo sucks just as much as the last one.
As for my albums list:
Muse - Absolution
Joy Division - Closer
Interpol - Antics
Garbage - Version 2.0 (their only good album?)
Mars Volta - Deloused in the Comatorium (Amputechture is good too, but Frances kind of sucked.)
At The Drive In - Relationship of Command
The Killers - Hot Fuss (but the less said about Sam's Town the better.)
