I agree some people have weird strong reactions to sexuality while overlooking violence, and vice-versa (hence our Flower Blood? ).
Here though this allows people to evaluate the game for their children or for themselves, using different categories including violence and sex, but also if it requests money in-game or if it deals with sensitive topics (religion, prostitution...).
The only concern I have with this kind of rating is when you answer cautiously and suddenly things like google play compute a PG13 rating out of nowhere.
You end up having to tone it down to get a more sensible rating.
In this case the main goal seems to compute age ratings depending on local country / regulations.

It's becoming mandatory at various places anyway, not much we can do about it.
