Not-so-Hot mail
Hotmail says that my .dmod file has a virus in it... ...and I am pretty sure it doesn't...
I kind of want to distribute Betas today/tomorrow...
Note: In case you read this to those who are beta testing "Ex-Peppermint". I have decided to release the first beta when the game is done up to and including the final boss...(but not the end and some of the features.) If I ever do release one that is...
...it is coming to the point where no one can do much testing anyway before the deadline...

I wasn't working on a contest d-mod so my schedule would've been open, if it werent for that hotmail virus thing, could you possibly send it via AIM?
Well last time I tryed to contact you there was no response Slaughterer; I suppose I could send you what I have so far though I can send you the other files and updates when I complete them I suppose.
sounds like a good plan, cube-of-2d-melony-good-ness, but when did you last try to cantact me, just out of curiosity

Why don't you make a yahoo or gmail account and send it from there?
Or maybe the reason is that you are actually sending a virus?
No. Hotmail and msn messenger think all "executioning" files are virusses, like .exe, .bat, and also .dmod. Send it via gmail.
Thank you very much Mr. Christian.
Of course I should have known that Microsoft would do what they could to prevent the success of other developers...
Especially after using their Java Programing environment that used to freeze out of nowhere for no reason with out any auto save feature...>_<
I should set them adrift with 18 men who are still loyal to them...
Unfortunatly that means I have to set up another E-Mail account to have to check...;_;

You need an invitation for a Gmail account. And whatte ye know, you just got one!
I seem to remember that hotmail doesn't object so much if you compress the files first... its fooled by the .zip... but that mightn't help here.
zip and then rename works. Or just zip, then zip, then rename... there are various ways.
You could always open it up in a hex viewer, and send it as a text file.

Thank you very muchly for the inviting thingie, Christ Ion. Unfortunatly I do not speak Dutch though so I had to use a crappy online translator...
