Wooah, the celebrations of the midsummer's eve 2004 are history, now Teh Hangover is all that remains so, what did you do, get drunk, grill, burn bonfires?

Well, I don't really know if they actually celebrate mid summer in other countries than Finland, though..

I think Pagans usually do, regardless of nationality.

At least here in Finland it's the day of the year when the sun stays above the horizon for the longest time. The celebrations is just a tradition. I don't remember much of last night.. Last thing I remember was that I terribly wanted to smoke a cigarette. I woke up in my own bed, though

My mid summer eve consisted sauna, sausage and too much beer.

Hmmm, i were at our relatives summerplace
(read in finnish:mökki) we played an überfun game called "mölkky" (WTF?) and of course, sauna and vihta (i really hope that someone translates these).

vihta = birch-switch (golly, that sounds stupid)
vihtoa = slap yourself/someone with a birch-switch (that sounds slightly perverted)
mölkky = I don't even know what game that is

mökki = cabin
