Just made a try in the browser. Got killed on the 2nd or 3rd screen. I was frozen in a cutscene and an enemy could reach me!

Got frozen for eternities after talking to a bunch of guys at screen 737. I'm running freedink 1.08 I checked cdr.c it had an unfreeze(1) but doesn't work.

I left you some comments about this dmod in the private message section of the DN about a week and a half ago that you might want to take a look at.

I will look into it.
the bad thing is that when I play through it it doesn't freeze.

You need a walkthrough? I tried, but I dunno if it's any good.
The game starts with some dialogue on the first screen. You can examine your surroundings, but it's completely optional. The objects you can examine are: a patch of grass, pumpkins, flowers, mushrooms, logs, bones, and two types of seashells, and a starfish. You can also hit them for extra dialogue. Go left.
You will get some dialogue here too. Things you can examine: bushes, red barrel, brown barrel (you can also break it), wells, a pig, fountains, volcanoes, rocks. Again, hitting gets you extra dialogue. The only item that gives you something is a chest. Hit it, and you can collect 2000 gold. You can leave by using the bridge to the left.
On the new screen you can collect a couple of goodies. But watch out! The monsters can actually kill you. You can try to fight some of them to gain some experience points, but you won't need them in this D-Mod. The best strategy is to in a straight line, collect the goodies and leave the screen to the left before the monsters get close to you.
On the next screen you can examine: the bookshelf, burning fireplace, extinguished fireplace, bottles, a burning tree, a duck, a bed with dead bodies, and a fire. You can continue by talking to any of the tree's (except the burning one).
Watch the intro, then you will be teleported to a new screen. Go one screen down, then left. There a guard will inform you that you can't cross the bridge. Well, if we can't go left, let's go two screens right. Oh, the path is blocked by rocks! You can examine the signpost if you wish. Then there's only one way we can go: go back one screen left, and down two screens.
You find yourself in a town. You can't enter the houses, but you can get some dialogue by attempting to enter. Go down, and enter the bar. You can talk to the barkeep, but he won't sell drinks to strangers. You can also go up to the left side of the bar to find a band practicing. Talk to the door to get some dialogue. Now go back to the previous screen. Talk to the old woman, and ask for directions. You can now leave the bar. What? The doors don't teleport you to the outside? No problem, just press space at the door, and you are teleported to the outside.
Now go up four screens, and go to the left. The guard is gone! Now you can go left. For some extra dialogue you can try to leave the town. Wait, now the entrance is guarded again! The guard thinks Dink's a sailor, and he won't let him back out. Well, looks like we are stuck in this town. Go back to the left, then get one screen down.
Enter the church. Don't try to talk to the fenced people, it's currently bugged. Go up a screen, and talk to the man with the light blue and grey clothing. Watch the cutscenes. You are now home! Go down a screen to find a large engraving of Dink's name. Talk to it to receive some extra dialogue. Go back up, and try entering the house. What, the door is locked? Dink says the key is under the engravement. Go back down, then watch the cutscene. You find yourself in an empty room. Talk to a wall to escape.

@RangerLord:
Hmm. It seems that this is *exactly* as far as I have gotten too, although I would add that escaping the empty house that Dink gets trapped in just takes him to the first screen of the dmod, *again*.

I thought that there had to be more to the dmod, especially given the way it was promoted as "Almost infinite gameplay, It took me about 7 hours to play from one end to the other. And that was only the first playthrough. Many alternate storylines converge to give Dink the hardest and most engaging adventure yet.".

Is this really all there is to the dmod or was there something that made this just an elaborate April Fool's Day joke?

Change is constant, but Constants do not change.
"This is just a dream. All our lives are dreams." Maybe it's a dream where you need to do something different from what you did earlier to produce a different outcome. But still, Silberfarben needs to fix some of the bugs that hinder the player's progression with the game. I think that teleportation to the first screen is a bug, or maybe something I need to do repeatedly for "7 HOURS" to produce the outcome that Silberfarben mentioned.

well
you got me

it is indeed an april's fools joke

i wanted to keep it a secret for longer, but with the walkthrough and you commenting on it...

yeah, you need to keep on doing that for 7 hours, and then the timer will eventually end, and you will get a secret ending.

and i dont know if you got this, but there are two screens with someome who will randomly appear, or not appear

those are alternate endings

oh, and teleporting to the first screen is not a bug, i made it on purpose so it would literally be endless

and ranger, your walkthough is great

responding to RangerLord's walkthrough
Walk Right, all I can say is that they seem to confuse left with right during the dream part(those four screens can only be exited through the right)

also, there are two screens, 572(fountain) and 474(church alley) where there is a one in 20 chance of meeting a knight.
if you do meet a knight, you will be able to buy a way to get out of there! only for 2000 gold.
it is alternate dialogue.

thanks for making a walkthrough, I didn't think it deserved one.
and all the reviews.
