So... what's your favourite Dmod so far? I give three options:
1. Your all time favourite
2. Your "non-combat" or otherwise short/easy favourite
3. Your "secret pleasure"

Mine:
1. Fall of Tahmar
2. Agatha Smallwoods will
3. Hotel of the Middle Night (yes, I love that one)

For guilty pleasure, Call to Greatness. I remember laughing in tears while playing that one, even though technically the dmod is just awful. I'm also not at all sure it would hold up on a replay. But really, it's just great.

1: hrm. well cloud castle 2 is up there i guess. cast awakening part 1 maybe, but whenever i think about playing it or launch it these days i just remember that magic is broken as hell to the point its the only thing worth using. so then i don't play it. as good as eternity? because its really pretty much a combat oriented thing with a lot of stuff to collect and then you become broken as shit.

2: uh, cast awakening part 5 maybe? needs an endless mode or something tho. dink's nightmare is alright until you get to the spike dudes. even if you bother getting passed them, there's just dragons. and not even very many. maybe isle of croth, but there's gotta be more stuff out there that can stand up to you and your stupid high drank-a-lot-of-potions stats

3: mayhem >: )

The Psychic Revolution begins...
The Disciple

The best damn thing ever played, and it sure gives Dink a very different feeling. Unlike the other high score and long dmods, the others are too hard but this is the only one I finished.

Furball

Presenting the non-combat feature, and one of the best level designs out there, with new interior sprites. Its all about a pet story but the adventure was just simple.

As good as eternity

I really don't know why, but it is the best element of replayability for me.

I tried Call to Greatness. It was fun! The ending though... well maybe it fit that HAHAHAHA land. (Missed the perkele.)

I have tried Cloud Castle 2 etc. big ones... just got a scratch of them. Maybe when I have time, I'll try to get trough them.

The Disciple is under play... have a save and need to continue that one...
And Furball, as a furball (cat) owner I have played that through a couple of times, and it was my option nr 2 for non combat. I love Agatha Christie, so... that one won!

I like Frutti Fresh
1.The Disciple
Its just dope
2.Broken Windows.
Ok well technically there is one fight, but thats not the focus of the mod.
3.Pilgrim's Quest.
It's long, it's weird, and it literally took me 10 tries across my lifetime to finish it because....let's face it, it's a hard dmod to beat. And yet, I still like it. Dunno why.

Tigertigertiger.
My favourite is Cloud Castle 2, followed by The Basilisk Smile, followed by I, Kara Gu.

After those, I'd go for Valley of the Talking Trees. A stone cold classic. Legend of Tenjin, Prophecy of the Ancients... yum.

2nd generation. No easy way to be free.
It is very hard for me to answer these questions. My tastes in dmods varies widely, though I prefer exploring strange lands and enjoying interesting stories to dmods that are more classic "hack and slash". In fact, I find the (very few) "combat only" dmods that just pit Dink against various beasts and evil doers (sometimes only in one screen!), not even worth a download.

The world could always use more heroes
It's hard to choose just a single D-Mod as an all time favorite because there's so many good ones, so here's my top 3

Cast Awakening Part I: Initiation
It's a masterpiece of a D-mod that I've probably played through more times than any other (besides my own)

Malachi the Jerk
It came out at a time when I was probably the most active in this community, and it was brilliant, witty, and super fun

Prophecy of the Ancients
It was the first major D-mod I ever played when I was a kid and it left one hell of an impression on me. It got me involved in this community (for better or worse) and it will always have a place in my heart.

Honorable mentions:
Stone of Balance, Pilgrim's Quest

"Thunder take you!" - Raiden Mortal Kombat 9
1: Cloud Castle 2: Scarab without a second thought is my favorite.

2: I have played only three of them: Minesweeper, Furball and Agatha Smallwood's Will. I am not much of a non-combat one's so I do not have any favorite one.

3: Secret Pleasure? I do not understand what you mean. Could you please clarify?
