Stolen audio in Dink
Here's the deal. The "secret.wav" file which, to my knowledge, was made by Seth himself, sounds awfully similar to the sound "Puzzle Reveal" used in the TV game show "Wheel of Fortune". I posted the two sounds in the discord and the 2 people that responded seemed pretty amazed by this.
So, for your comfort, I made a 5 second video comparing the two sounds. Please, post your opinions. Was there any theft from any party? Is this a coincidence?

Not only is Seth an evil Ancient, he's a pirate!
Joke y'all.
Yes very similar by the way.

Seth licensed most of the sound effects from a company that also provides sound effects for television and movies. I believe this is described in the readme (or maybe the credits section of DinkHD).
I've heard the Bonca roar in a couple of places (it was used as a bull roar in a matador sequence during an episode of Jackass from ages ago) and I hear the duck quack sounds every so often.
Side note, this is related to why the freedink data package uses different sound effects. The default Dink sound effects are proprietary, and cannot be redistributed without violating the license.

Yeah, I smile inside every time I hear those. The girl screaming is also pretty common.
With secret.wav, I think it's also possible Seth created it himself and this is a coincidence. It's a super simple simple sound effect, basically just a few adjacent notes on a keyboard. Level.wav is also similar, which Seth specifically mentions having made himself in credits.txt.

That makes sense there. Besides never underestimate the subconscious.
I made the secret.wav sound effect by tapping the notes on a Korg T3 keyboard. I think it's probably a coincidence as I've never really watched wheel of fortune. I was trying to copy Zelda!
