The Dink Network

Well, I was thinking about this place the other day. Looks like the heart is still beating for it, for I see some nice oldies who's been here since I was a decade ago!

Two kids (+an older college son!), a music teaching job and, yet, I still manage to pick up Dink again! Lola, you still got it!

I still remember some of the awesome member I had such pleasure shooting the breeze with on here.

haha I prefer to Dink, I mean, think of of us lot as jelly. See, fans blow us apart. But with jelly, you'll always stick; through the ugly and pretty times.

Oh yes, and another thing. Is this community still accepting new members? One of my own little ones wanted to become a member to, but he hasn't received an activation e-mail. I'm guessing that most of the staff has, by now, abandoned this place? Maybe it isn't beating as much now after all.

And, quite the interesting invite. Sadly, however, terrorism and me are like Peanut Butter and Meatloaf: we all taste good, but the former would rather not be in the latter. *inserts here a celebratory picture of an old woman, exploding with laughter, thinking that she is SO clever with metaphors and similes.*

it should still work. hell, even redink1 came back whenever, demoted Tal, and did some things and i guess he's still around.

if they're trying to sign up and using hotmail, that thing likes to auto-delete stuff from certain places unless you go into the settings and add this place as an exception. you wouldn't even know sometimes if you were getting an email. microsoft just intercepts them and destroys them before they get to you.

Let me go check. I think it is hotmail. that he's using.

Hi, LolitaChix. It must be about 5 years ago that I discovered Dink and the Network and I liked this place even if I found it kind of weird. I don't know what is the catch, maybe being a part of some special weirdos club. Actually, I also recognise some of these names.

By the way, I read that CocoMonkey passed away. Here is a news article about it. In Sept. 2014, he had announced that he got married.

Dukie is also no longer with us.

So, Dink's program is almost 20 years old, and it is now that I first decided to actually do some dink modding. I have a story in development, and I think it's going to be an Epic. How's that for a beginner??

(Of course, I may want to do some very small mod projects first before actually going into this big project. *chuck-chucks*)

it is? seth, come back here right now. you can get a 20th anniversary dank on steam (with 1.08 and stuff in case that 20th anniversary one is super broken).

I've been lurking here for more than a decade. Just recently I upped the ante by chatting on forums a bit.

Also, I'm working on a dmod I hope to release before the year is out. I hope this place stays here "forever". I certainly enjoy all things Dink.
