Quality Control
I think the Dink Network needs more quality control here.
I propose that any D-mod under 1.0 Gets deleted or atelast gets deleted then put on a partner website called the The Dink Smallwood Rubbish bin.
It beyond me that D-mods like Goblin castle and ABC............. are allowed on here.

That's what the ratings are for. If you choose to play a dmod with a score of 1, you know what to expect.
It still better not to have it clogs up the D-mod list.
People worked on those mods, they deserve to be there, regardless.

No they dont.
No they dont.
It's a matter of perspective. Where you see crap, I see the works of other people that are an attempt to be creative, and are a part of the site's history.
You think Goblin Castle and ABCD.....is creative?
Heck my Cannibal D-mod until I gave up was better then those D-mods.

They don't really hurt anyone. Everybody can expect that a DMOD rated 1.6 is probably not going to be very good. The problem is much more in the slightly higher category, you get much more frustrated from bugs in slightly better games because the hurt the suspension of disbelief much more. In really bad DMODs there is no suspension of disbelief in the first place.
My piece of shit Dink's Quest in the Icelands required nothing but coding some dialogue (only thing I can really do), and rip some codes from other games to make pillbugs and a heart bonus.
It got 1.6
Then came another DMOD on another account. Improvement. And holy shit, you can complete this one because I didn't try and rushed through or something without building upon the story I had intended. WOW!
Then Smallwood-Man!. Notice how the rating increased which each upload.
Why implement some quality control when you can instead see how my DMODs have improved? Then you can say to yourself, "Wow, I cannot make a DMOD for shit, but Skorn over there is a terrible dmodder and has had scores only raise thus far. I CAN DO THIS.
