Why does Blizzard suck so much nowadays?
They used to be WAY!! better back in the day The last decent thing they made was Warcraft 3
I dont hate change if anything I like change I like good change.
Good, then learn to ACCEPT games! Blizzard are working on like, 5 games or something each with top-level of quality. Not fond of card games? Don't play Hearthstone. Not fond of MMO's? Don't play WoW. Not fond of RTS? Don't play Starcraft. etc. No need to whine about their newer games being bad without anything to support it. It's all you so to say.
Most of their past games are top-level quality. If you like them, pley 'em. Be an accepting gamer. I'm trying hard to not respond to certain members but I'll let it slide for once.

I dont mind card games but id rather play something like solitaire then Hearthstone
Im not that into MMOs WOW is what really destroyed Blizzard.
Do not even get me started on Diablo 3 im so glad I didnt buy that abomination my brother did I played it at my brothers house.

It is very good and according to you the best game they made. I think all their games that I've played are great, I dunno about those I haven't played like the very first Diablo but it seems nice.

waah an unsupported claim for a game i never played it ruined the company by just being made waah (this is so fun)

-its cost $90
-Its require a subscpition fee ontop of that.
-It should be a free 2 play game period
Im getting tired ill tell you more reasons tomorrow

I'm actually going to defend Predisher here. Wow, Quiztis, you were a real dick in this entire thread.
I'm going to have to agree with Pred here on the grounds that I played Diablo 1 and 2 and they were fine. Got tedious, but otherwise fine. Diablo 3, on the other hand, I hear is garbage that you couldn't play offline on launch day because of some Sim City level "DRM" that ended up locking out paying customers. (which is why you should torrent EAs titles since you can easily get screwed by them).
I played Starcraft a long time ago and ended up ducking around and placing mushrooms everywhere, but I'm sure it's a decent enough game. If I played it legitimately, it can't be that bad. Starcraft 2, maybe it's the same. But I'm not going to play online with some ultra competitive Korean players who do it all day. I'll get wrecked. No fun.
I don't think it's just "WAAAH, OLD GAMES WERE BETTER!", I think it's just a case of...well, maybe Blizzard does suck these days. I mean, this is the company that still charges up the ass for World of Warcraft and has expansion packs coming out every nanosecond. And I didn't hear anything good about Mists of Panderia. Haha, Panderia. Pandas. What genius. They must truly be out of ideas. I'd play this game if I didn't have to sacrifice all the money I ever obtain to the all mighty lords at Blizzard. Yes, World of Warcraft is considered to be the original/best/ultimate/whatever MMO and every MMO after copies it, but holy damn. It's overpriced. Subscriptions to a game can duck off. And so can the FTP model.
Someone tell me if Guild Wars is worth it, because that game is a "You bought the game. Here's all the content" sort of thing. Or is it true what they say about it becoming pay to win with a shitty item mall where you can spend 80 dollars for an hour of double experience?
And Quiztis, what the hell is this "be an accepting gamer" crap you've got? You want us all to look over at EA or Activision and say "Oh, those silly corrupted game developers. Hahah, they made 34 Call of Duties and 44 Madden games this year. Hah, look at all those expansions to drain more money. Heheh, oops. Looks like some crazy customer got ripped off over there. He was promised a fun game, but what he got was a registration key that doesn't work. Oh, well. It's all well and good. Let them get ripped off how they want." - How about no. Let's speak up against whatever shitty company we want.
In Conclusion

Just freakin' make something.
Instead of wasting your time whining about how game companies today suck, why don't you strive to change things? I've chosen to be a game designer, to share my stories without having to rely on cheap gimmicks to sell them, or needing people to tell me what gamers are looking for when I can clearly see what they want with my own eyes.
Nothing will change as you are now.

Because global warming. There I said it.
This response from Skorn was expected and I admit, I went overboard a bit with you, Punisher soz.
You two seem to rely a lot on what other people say/think about the company making the game without having played the actual game, fine, I don't work that way.
If MMO's and monthly fees don't suit you, then don't play the games. Pretty much what this is about. No need to rant all over the place about it.
The F2P model exists and that's that. Don't like it? Then don't play the games. That's the best you can do.
About the accepting thing, well, I haven't explained what I meant yet and you barf all over the place about what you think I meant, very much expected. Let's take EA as an example. EA and their studios make games for everyone, action games, adventure games, strategy games etc. games like FIFA and The Sims. A new Sims game is released, Sims 7. I think it's very, very ignorant to say:
"Those corrupted EAs (company of fails) studio Maxis made Sims game number 97 counting expansions lol prolly as shitty as the rest of them because EA pushed them to release early as they usually do you know"
I know very well that EA is supposedly one of the worst companies in America, does that mean that all their games are bad? People get all snowed in on reputation, past events and rumors nowadays. In the end, it's all:
"EA published a new game, Dragon Age Ultimate."
"Who cares? EA can go #@%! themselves they ruin every game they release and they screw you over."
This without looking into the actual game. Should you really include the reputation of the publisher/developer as an important aspect before you even try the game? It's really unfair imo. So I am neutral towards the game before playing it, I should accept that the game was made by a certain company. Accept that an MMO from Blizz exists and maybe not be suited for me (just don't play it).
I thought that Mass Effect 3 was the best in the series and that game was apparently rushed by EA. Also, Pandaria has been a part of the Warcraft universe before World of Warcraft.

As much crap as EA gets, it's kinda funny that some of my best gaming experiences were with EA games. Granted, I've not played even one tenth of all the games they've released, but the ones I did, I had some of the most fun times of gaming I've had in my entire life. Whether it was when I was a kid or more recently.
You two seem to rely a lot on what other people say/think about the company making the game without having played the actual game, fine, I don't work that way.
Even though I played Diablo one and two as I said in my post.

Not going to change a thing. Do you not see how scammy that is? You'll just end up paying large multiples of what the game should actually cost.
The F2P model exists and that's that. Don't like it? Then don't play the games.
Because every game is F2P. Not seeing your point here. And don't use that dated and exhausting "Don't like <x>? Don't <y> it" thing, because it means nothing. If there's something shitty, people have the right to call it out.

Correction: EA forces companies they absorb to push out various types of games quickly.
As for the rest of your argument, I have Dragon Age Ultimate on Steam. It's a good game, (except the fade part with the Sloth demon. Horrible section, and very long. Made me stop playing the last time I went through)...and the difficulty curve is stupid from the Spirit Apparatus and upwards.
However, EA then stepped in to make things "interesting", and Dragon Age 2 was rushed out the door and most people say it sucks. I won't play it unless it becomes very cheap or if I want to eventually torrent it so that I can avoid being ducked over...as I do with all of the other EA games except those times, it's torrent all the way.
This without looking into the actual game. Should you really include the reputation of the publisher/developer as an important aspect before you even try the game?
Yes, but for me, only to the point where I won't pay them a dime considering I don't want to risk being locked out of a game I actually payed for because their DRM is atrocious and people have had issues getting keys to work and the company just responds with "Buy another".
Also, Pandaria has been a part of the Warcraft universe before World of Warcraft.
I don't play the game, so how can you really blame me for expecting Pandaria and pandas to be a new thing when an expansion releases that is called that? And no, I've not even been interested enough to research the game because...I don't play it and I really don't care.

WOW skurn that probably the most insightful post you ever posted.
I have more reasons.
-It contradicts the lore(Granted WC3 did this a little bit but atleast that was fun)
-they can ban you
-Your account can get hacked(This actually happened to my little brother years ago)
The Sims needs to die I cant believe they keep milking the hell out it
The sims 1 was ok.....I mean just ok it quiackly gets a bit boring after a while I mean cmon life simulation.

Woof.
It's called bad writing. (Too lazy to put in my password, three gueses who I am.)
Anyway, as stated before, make your own games. There's four game engines listed, one of which is easier than any other that I know of.

Then what are you going for? You want me to play World of Warcraft or something? Diablo 3? Maybe one day.
Well, I don't think one should judge out a game completely because of the reputation of the developer. Like Diablo 3 you heard sucked just becuase you couldn't play offline or some DRM put there by Blizzard. The actual game may be of your taste, who knows?
Ive played Diablo 3 it sucked.
Granted Diablo 2 wasnt that great either but it was still better then D3

I was using the Dink smallwood editor And I wasnt enjoing it.
I admit it.

Sure. I liked Diablo 3 and I play it from time to time. I haven't tried Reaper of Souls yet. You must put some time into a game before you judge it.
Making DMODs is also fun!

Id say save your money.
Id say save your money.
I've played Diablo 3 for the PS3, it was much better than the older ones. For instance, you have subtly different storylines for each player character, you have different ways to play, different ways to chain your attacks and kill your enemies. Plus, you can attack faster.
The older ones, while fun, either you knew what you were doing and killed things quickly, or you got massacred because you didn't know what you were doing. Plus, the pacing is slow, and it was difficult for me to follow any sort of plot as I played.

Warcraft 2 is still the best Blizzard game.
You know something Usually when a game company make a good game they start to live off its success and eventually start releasing crap.
Just look at bungie
Halo 1 is one of the best FPS ever I played not long when it came like 2002 that game blew me away the atmosphere, the soundtrack, everything.
Halo 2 was still good but felt a little rushed
Havent played 3
ODST sucked
Reach was ok
Then came destiny (facepalm)
Bungie is starting to end up like Blizzard How Ironic since they are both working with activision(I dont hate them as much as EA and Valve but they still are not that good)

Hurray! Activision! I wonder when the CoD content comes to World of Warcraft...
its 2021 and blizzard is about 1000x worse.
i know predisher made a video on it, but what do you think now?
