The only thing making me laugh is your tagline.
Damn it. Oh well just Google "duck these six fish in particular.
I think that would kill a whole lot more than six fish.
Anyways, per the orders of the OP I did not find it funny. Furthermore I find it hard that someone who does find it funny could explain why it is so. Humor is just one of those unexplainable things.
I prefer really bad jokes like, "Eating clocks is really time consuming. Especially if you come back for seconds".

Oh Jeeze, swear filter.
I found the picture slightly funny, but not enough to elicit a chuckle. The joke isn't terribly poignant, especially since it's not unusual for lightning to strike water.

Or something like: "The boxer wasn't a good comedian. He couldn't find the right hook"?

Yes. Stuff like that.
My wife found the picture funny.
I take it as God was angry and bored so he smites 6 fish with his almighty control of the weather to relieve some stress. Or something. Kind of funny, if you think about it a certain way.
Plus, I've never seen so many full lightning bolts in one direction of the sky at the same moment, so it does seem almost supernatural...

I am not sure they were in the same moment. You can't react fast enough to take a picture of a lightning bolt when you see it, so photographs of lightning are taken by setting up your camera for a long exposure (say, 30 seconds) during a thunderstorm. So, while they must have been quite close together, it might not actually have looked like that to an eyewitness.
Thanks guys, I found this interchange quite enlightening.
I grinned a little at leprechauns joke, smiled a bit at skull's and thought "that's funny" at the fish pic.
I believe one's response to humour reveals the audience, not the joker... well maybe the joker's assumptions of the audience....

I didn't laugh at the picture itself, yet I laughed at a screenshot of the picture on a tumblr post with the exact same words in bolded italics. I don't know why.
