Will demos ever be finished?
I recently played the Crosslink demo (Didn't realize it was that at first.) and I enjoyed it. I'm kinda sad that, after all of this time, it hasn't been finished yet. Does anyone else wish a demo was finished?
I just wished there was a CC3 demo or screenshots atleast.
My demo will never be finished, I can say that much
But, I have other things in store that are vastly superior xD

When the full version is released the demo is usually removed. So the ones that are left are pretty much the ones that will never be finished.
There aren't that many demos around that are so good that I would really want them to be finished. I haven't played all of them but of the ones I played 'Once a hero' is the only one I can think of. 'Crosslink' and 'Back from the grave' are great too, but were created so long ago that they would never be finished in the same style that they were made in originally. The style of DMOD making has definitely changed over time, and finishing those DMODs today would be like putting a modern day extension to an old building: It would never feel like a single structure.

Maybe not a popular choice amongst Dinkers, but one D-Mod I'd really like to see finished is Outlander.
Once a Hero, Back from the Grave and Crosslink are all cool demos from their time, but honestly, if they got a full version release, BftG would probably be the only one I'd be interested to check out. OaH is the kinda D-Mod I'd play if I found myself extremely bored one day, and Crosslink never seemed that good of a D-Mod to me. It has some cool scripting and an unique feel to it, but other than that, it honestly is not one of my favs.
EDIT: Oh, and another demo I enjoyed was Legend of the Dink 3.

Whoever wrote This demo should be shot, it sucked.
I'd like Once A Hero and Back From The Grave to be finished.

My ass is smarter.
Well, huh. Didn't really realise people wanted OaH to be finished. I always wanted it to be a super polished super simple style d-mod, very much like the earlier d-mods but with more interesting mapping etc.
Y'all know how to make me smile.
