Handgun-Colt M1911-This was ahead of its time this gun was desiged by John Browning this gun is 100 YEARS OLD!! and very outdated the UK SAS used to use this weapon but swithed over to the SIG which has a lighter trigger pull and more accurate
Heavy Machine Gun-M2 Browning
This weapon was made in the early 1920s it was used in ww2 and even today the weapon is Exestremly heavy it takes like 3 people to carry arround it has a huge amount of recoil and also very loud noise
Assualt Rifle-M16 family-the m16 has been used since the Vietnam war is an iconic rifle a large majority of countries are swithing to Bullpup weapons e.g France UK Australia Isreal New Zealand China

Our soldiers have futuristic weapons that automatically target enemies and blast them into smithereens, jet planes that travel at 900 miles per second (which means anyone unexperienced sitting in them is screwed) and this beast.

And we wouldn't have any of those without the Germans. In fact, about 90% of our current technology wouldn't be as advanced as they are, without the Germans. Which is... very weird, to say the least.
Sure, I think the M9 could be replaced with something heavier like a .40 cal, and the M-4 (we rarely use M16's) could be upgraded for a 308, however understand that there are several factors for us not doing it.
1. Cost.
2. The weapons are still effective. Both these weapons while somewhat weak against body armor make up in large mag capacity.
3. They don't make them like they used to.
Plus we have been dumping our money into places where it is more effective (F-22's, F-35's...speaking of which I saw 10 F-16's go against a F-22 and they all lost to it). Truthfully where we are slightly weak is cyberwarefare.. That's it. (and we are not even touching on the classified stuff)
Talk about the guns all you want.. We excel everywhere else... To include training. "It's not about who has the bigger stick, but who is swinging it".

-WC US forces are still using the ancient(Not litelarry its just a saying if you did not know that)M1911 pistol
Most use the Beretta M9 (In fact I have NEVER seen a 1911 in combat, only M9's). I however would prefer a 1911 (I am a owner of a Springfield version on the 1911). That gun is reliable, and .45 will put a hurt on you.

the fun part is that its actually really not outdated at all and in fact has been being overfunded even before cheeto hitler decided to overfund it more. it's pretty much the only thing about this shitty country that's up to date which is not a good thing.
