So, the giant battle ended with the two Finnish participants sharing the second place. Now staff, if you could please put a mention of this in the news and give the winners their deserved mention in their files' descriptions'.
Once again, a big congratulations to all the winners, and all those who contributed to The Dink Network during the last year!

Congratulations to the winners for producing quality stuff and the runner ups for JUST missing out!
My heart was making loop-de-loops all the time during the event, thanks to all that voted for my DMOD! Eternal fame! Yes!
Congratulations iplaydink and to the second place winners! It wasn't an easy win, I tell you.

Congratulations! Grasp of Darkness deserved to win this one. And Armor Demonstration... download of the year even if it hasn't seen any actual use on a mod yet? Strange
EDIT: Come to think of it, none of the non D-mod entries have seen any use... heh.

@Synbi's edit: Lets hope someone uses some of them in the contest thats part of the point of it all...
Would be awesome to know how many downloads each file has - could be very interesting...

Ouch, those are some seriously low voting numbers.
20 according to Skull, 8 according to reality.
... well, I didn't vote till late cause didn't know if it was for real (official) or just Skull doing his thing again *shrugs*
He also counted wrong as Armour demo got 5 votes not 4 (just ask - Skull, IPD, Quiz, Erwin and RobJ) - *uses fingers YES that looks like 5 to me* Kinda muffs up the percentages a tad hehe
Congrats to all though

20 according to Skull
Didn't you know that Skull had 12 votes?

Oooops, my mistake. The percent thing ain't quite right now. Oh well, it doesn't change the winners nor placements one bit so who cares.
20 according to Skull, 8 according to reality.
What do you mean? There were 21 (20 if I didn't make the mistake I stated above) votes in TOTAL. And at least I was here to do YOUR job, so don't start with me.

There, the percent mistake is fixed now. I also changed so Armour dem has 5 votes and that there were 21 votes in total. You see Christiaan, 10 for the Non-D-Mod files + 11 for the D-Mod files = 21. So I hope you don't come up with any more of your "reality" crap.
EDIT: Wait, no, I fail. I should try that sleeping thing again.
No magic, you don't fail - even I (who hates numbers with a vengeance) can see that it only adds up to 73% of votes for the winning dmod and when I went to school it should add up to 100%
Ohh - unless Mr None voted again... although that means he voted 27% of the votes eek - ninja poster indeed and as the non dmods add up to 90% then he did 10% of the voting on the non dmod section as well.
I suggest that Mr None should be banned from voting on any more files cause he messes with the numbers hehe
Sincerely yours: Ms Smartypants

Maybe you should try that sleeping thing too, MsDink. You see, there are two D-Mods in the 2nd place. That means 27% + 27%, not just 27%. Geez, I can't believe I'm the only one of us who didn't go to school.
Are you sure you have slept enough, Skull? GRUMPINESS LEVEL IS OVAH 9000!!
*GASP* You does not go to teh skoolz? You must be's ignorrant!
Well, fourth grade was the last grade I went to. But believe me, I would have chosen school if I could have.
GRUMPINESS LEVEL IS OVAH 9000!!
Nah, I'm not really as grumpy as I sound. I've just been sick for the whole week and wish Christiaan would have done his job instead of coming and nitpicking to someone who did his job. But it's alright, I enjoy doing these RRR things.

You're doing my job and I'm doing yours.

Shut up, you should have never been picked into the staff, cause you were just a fail.

I wasn't until then. And now, how about congratulating the winners rather than being an anus just for shoots and giggles, and picking on mistakes that neither don't exist or are already fixed.

Um... You realise that should say "Either" and not "Neither", right? Because that's a mistake that DOES exist and HASN'T been fixed...
Sorry, couldn't resist

"Sanguine, my brother"
"Sanguine, my brother"
hehe Is that a noun or an adjective, Erwin?
You either mean bloodlust or Cheerfully optomistic (expecting this thread to get better)?
And because I have nothing else to do - this from the dictionary... online of course
And I quote (ok I pasted it but quote sounds awesome)
Word History: The similarity in form between sanguine, "cheerfully optimistic," and sanguinary, "bloodthirsty," may prompt one to wonder how they have come to have such different meanings. The explanation lies in medieval physiology with its notion of the four humors or bodily fluids (blood, bile, phlegm, and black bile). The relative proportions of these fluids was thought to determine a person's temperament. If blood was the predominant humor, one had a ruddy face and a disposition marked by courage, hope, and a readiness to fall in love. Such a temperament was called sanguine, the Middle English ancestor of our word sanguine. The source of the Middle English word was Old French sanguin, itself from Latin sanguineus. Both the Old French and Latin words meant "bloody," "blood-colored," Old French sanguin having the sense "sanguine in temperament" as well. Latin sanguineus was in turn derived from sanguis, "blood," just as English sanguinary is. The English adjective sanguine, first recorded in Middle English before 1350, continues to refer to the cheerfulness and optimism that accompanied a sanguine temperament but no longer has any direct reference to medieval physiology.
I recon BLOODLUST myself
