It is a short one, but it was quite a nice DMOD! Would definitely recommend you play it!
The premise is quite simple, Dink is approached at an inn by a pretty young girl who needs help defending her village from bandits and monsters. Dink being a selfless hero with no alternative motives, of course offers to help the young lass! However, things may turn out to be more complicated than they seem...
The map is quite lovely looking, although there are some misaligned trees and some misaligned fences that really bugged me
Although there aren't any fancy custom graphics, there are some custom sound effects for Dink which I liked.
There is not much combat and it's not particularly difficult, but it's fine, it serves its purpose well enough.
The dialog and story are quite well done. Kept me captivated and the ending was very surprising! I liked how there are a bunch of objects you can interact with that at first might make you think "hmm, that's a weird funny little thing". However, later on, you realize there was a particular purpose to everything and it wasn't just there by coincidence...
I'm not sure how to say this without spoiling things too much, but I think the DMOD could be expanded upon in the future, perhaps make it have multiple kinds of endings depending how Dink chooses to approach things... Either way, I had fun with it, nice job Toof!
