Complaint Chaos is an article that addresses, mocks, or rips suggestions from the suggestion box. Most of the suggestions are completely worthless, amusing, or just plain odd. This edition has 13 from the past few months since the server outage. 1. Viva la dinkolution! Yay, french people have made a new word in their vocabulary, which I hear is a very honorable thing to do. May the Dinkolution continue unto the end of time. 2. pilgram Ok, the complaint box is definately not a search box... but come on, at least enter your fake searches with words that are spelled correctly. 3. when you use the import function you start where you were in the first dink and cant leave the screen can someone please help me? Alright, you need help on how to use the import function. First of all, are you using Dinkedit or Windinkedit? And... wait a minute? How am I supposed to tell you how to do this? You left me absolutely no way to contact you. My telepathic abilities have waned as of late, and looking at boiling goat intestines for hints into the future only leave me with a styrofoam smell clung to my clothes. 4. Did you know that smiles in the forum are still pointing at RPGPlanet, and therefore don't work? No, I didn't know that, thanks. After you posted this, I did in fact fix it. One of the few useful suggestions... thanks! For your reward, I give you a 'pilgram.' 5. hangover and agony Hrm... I heard that cheese might be able to help with your hangover, but I'm not sure what I can do to help your agony. Maybe if you swallow some lint boiled in toilet water, you'll have an upset stomach to get rid of your agony? Try that, and let me know how it goes. 6. Let's do something about walkthrough links... or.. eat bananas I removed them all, because I am lazy. I'll fix them eventually... but I can barely write up a meager article a week, much less do some tedious database updating. 7. I had my bookmark on "http://dynamic4.gamespy.com/~dink/index.shtml" for a long time and didn't realize you were back, on a new server. Any way you could get at least a link up at the old address? No, because Gamespy turned from a pretty reliable host into an utter nightmare to work with. They think that we're still hosted there too, sigh. They actually said something like "we noticed something strange with your account, and we're going to look into it." That was over a month ago. 8. one of the cast games sound cool but takes to long to download I'll wave my hands around and bless you with the glory of bands of broad so you can download D-Mods fast!! ... Did it work? 9. I have tried to download a couple of the DMODS from the three sites listed but all I get is the same garbage on my screen. Do you have a problem??? Um... no. If you get garbage on the screen, your web browser has a problem interpreting correct MIME types. Just right-click on a link and select 'Save Target As.' 10. fix the links in the links section Crap, we have a links section? I forgot. Um... Tal, you fix that. 11. in dink mystry island...i'm stuck near d blue red & green machines....wt do i do?? plz mail me... ********@hotmail.com Congratulations, you asked a question, and let me know how to get back to you. But, please post something on the message board. This suggestion was back from November, and e-mailing you now seems sort of dumb. 12. has there been a d-mod based on Chrono trigger? Some have been planned, none have been released. Heck, I think a D-Mod has been started on every single RPG that has ever been made, plus those that have yet to be made. I know I started one based on Link's Awakening, but didn't get much further than 1 or 2 screens. 13. more dmods pleaz i ve dowloaded 93 percent ofthem 93 percent? I'm glad a great mathematician has granted us with his presence. Maybe you should've taken more english classes, though. |
