It discussion time again! Ooohh, most of you probably don't know what has happened but I got the responses I wanted

Anyway, Mimifish presented me with the next discussion topic. How do you feel about authors using .d and .ff files in their d-mods? Do you agree with their choice or do you think it would be better to just give full access to all source and graphic files? Go!

UPDATE : For those of you who have no idea what .D files and .ff files are, I have included a small note in the comments.

Here's a quick course for people who have no idea what I'm talking about.

.D files are the encrypted source files (the small text files that include the content of the d-mod). They were .c files originally so they could be modified. Most authors decide to convert them though, to prevent players from looking into them.

.ff files are encrypted graphics. This way you are no longer able to open them in an application.
