Sorry about prev. post. I had name and password saved, and everytime I tried to post message unable to post,error due to name field not filled out came up. What is the purpose of the remember name and password option if it makes you unable to post?

Anyway, I am trying to get the herb boots from the rude guy, but I keep killing him. How can I know when I can get the boots, and should I be using fists or sword? Thanks.

:You don't actually get the herb boots from the rude guy, just the instructions of where he left them. Which is on an island, which you can only reach after killing the brown scorpion which guards the beach the leads onto the shallow water which leads to the island.

I still have the same problem. How do I get the instructions? I hit and talk with no response. I've tried hitting and checking the beach area where the brown scorpion should be, but it's never there. I guess I'll just keep killing stuff for experience until I figure it out or get an answer :) This is the second time I played this game, but the first time I missed alot (didn't get the amulet or the divining rod in Land 2) never got the herb boots or suit of armour, and I don't no what else. I'm playing again, for the fun and to see what the amount of time it takes me to play differs. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.

Just realized that the brown scorpion isn't there because I already killed it in my wanderings, Got the boots, but feeling foolish.:p
