I just can't figure out how to turn that damn lighthouse off! Can anyone give me some hints? :)

Some some people say to fight fire with fire, I belive otherwise.

LOL, I know what you guys are getting at - the flask full of water!

I've filled it up and 'let it off' near the lighthouse, but nothing happens :p

you need to put off water in one of the fireplace in the goblin houses, i am not sure which house, i think the 2headed boss goblin, then climb into the fireplace and u r into the lighthouse...u r on ur own from here, figure it out.
