: : And what about Morrowind? Dink is free, though, but Dink 2 will/would not, i guess.. But the Dink humour is good.. And it's easy to make add-ons. The finished files are never really large, so anybody can download them. i like dink's simple controls, and you are safe if you kill all enemies on one screen.. ;) Also, dink doesn't require a super computer (though the recommended system specifications are high.. :p:p:p). AND: it's much cooler to make a technology D-Mod than a mod for another game, made with a much more advanced scripting language, i think. CONCLUSION: Dink will allways be better.. ;)
: All those junk posts led to something that makes sense? Wow, ehasl, congratulations. ;)
: But yeah, Dink will probably still thrive, because (as far as I can tell) only a few people in the community have computers that are capable of running NWN, while Dink goes easy on the hardware. Don't forget that Dink is free, too!
I know, Dink could run on my DOS if I had internet on it. :o
Actually, the dink scripting and editing works in a different way compared to neverwinter nights, which makes it more powerful, since neverwinter nights is multiplayer based it wont be able to run the massive amounts of script that dink can.. nor will it be able to a script attached to every possible object in the world that can react in a cool way..
