Easy DinkC 1.4
Since you're on the board right now Phoenix... Just wondering is there a limit to the number of scripts EDC 1.4 can load. I've got about 400+ in my DMOD and they don't all show up. Plus it says path not found when I go to save. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and that makes no difference.  :)

I really think it depends on your systems amount of RAM. And if you're using my "code coloring" function, that steals some memory too. But I must say I've never tested it with that amount of scripts. Do you mean loading the scripts into a document window, or the script list on the side? And if you mean the document windows, why would you load all at the same time? :)

I have 192 MB of RAM - Pentium III, Geforce 2. I mean the script display on the right. It doesn't list all my scripts, so I've stopped using your program. Shame, I like the colour coding and the indenting. I use that all the time. If you had a function which could toggle line numbers in the script window that would help find the missing brackets... ;)

Also I see you're planning on doing a version 2.0 - good. I like the program, although I haven't used any edit program on a DMOD from start to finish before (although I toyed with Cedit during the making of SOB).

Couple of suggestions if you want them:

dink.ini and the graphics display - if that handy little display could also give the sequence no. and frame no. - that would be very handy.

script list window - display files according to last modified - this is how I work with explorer, toggling between sorting by name (forward and reverse sorts) and sorting by last modified (forward and reverse).

I haven't used the templates at all...

Ummm... that's all I can think of. Nice program BTW

Heh.. true. I wish I knew how I could do something like that. I'm no super programmer, I admit, I don't make the controls myself. However the coloring function is an invention of mine, although I've got some ideas to make that one better as well.

Yeah, when I feel like it, I toy around with the project I hope that will turn into EDC 2 sometime. When it'll be done, I have no clue. ;)

The way that works in v2 is completely renewed. And in danger of revealing to much, I'll stop there. (I'd like the program's new features to stay secret until I'm done ;))

Yeah, ok, noted.
