Multible Boards?

Should we have multible board? A help forum, and 'swear at your enemies' forum, and a spamm form which theprophet and imacrazyguy should be in charge of? :)

2 boards, one for dev questions, one for d-mod and dink help.

Even if you have mulitle boards it really gives the spamers and flamers more boards to use. In my opinion, no matter what you do you will still get them.

IMO, we DO need two boards, one for dev requests, and one for dink help requests. (OR ppl should use the dmodd-dev mailing list for dev requests)

I think we should have three different boards for general Dink discussion, Dink development, and just blah-blah (so some of this spam is justified...some).

I was thinking of having a message board at my site for Dink Chat related topics, people who are sick and tired of the same people flaming each other known as the flame board, and morrowind related topics for Dinkers that play that game. I decided that I might not want to do this because I don't know if it is a great idea. :)

Well, I don't think that this is a good idea as iwould n't want to check more than one board.

I have been waiting in the chat room for 4 hours now!!!!!

I do think that having a development board that you are banned from if you post non-development stuff would be good. Then one for help playing a dmod, also banned if you do other crap their, then another where you can do 'anything' that i will no longer come to ;)

Before doing anything drastic as this keep imacrazyguy in mind. If there are 3 boards, as you mentioned, then everyone knows he would be banned from the first two (he can't help himself) and would be left totally in the dark. ;) Where would he get help from? Everyone would have a s**t load of email in their boxes from him whenever he wanted help or to spam (mostly the latter). ;) Now I ask; Would it be worth it? :)

Why to travel between 3 different forums???

One place with all the discussions orginized is just ok, and I think I'll be to lazy to check up on 3 different boards anyways... ;)

Well if you're not a developer you wouldn't need to check the development...and if you don't play dmods and don't want to tell people how to get past a puzzle, don't go to that one ;)

But really, if you were asking a question about development, wouldn't you feel a lot safer putting it somewhere where its more likely to be read?

As far as people getting banned...it can be temporary, they could have to appeal, or maybe its like, everytime they do it they can't post for a few days, and three strikes and your out kind of a thing.
