Having problems installing Dink

im having problems installing Dink Smallwood. whenever i try to install it i get "Corrupt File Detected". i went to the offical site and downloaded the game from every link they had and i still get the same message. is their a problem with my computer or something? please let me know...

Get a download resumer, the file download is quitting prematurely before the download accually completes due to your lack of bandwidth.

i use a download resumer, Flashget. maybe i should try something else. what do u think?

It might be that you directx might be corrupted somehow. But I dunno....

You could always update it. Seach for Directx at google and you will get lots of results. WC can tell you how do get it better than me.

DONT, why?, BECAUSE NT DOESNT SUPPORT DIRECTX, GET ANOTHER OS, IF YOU INSTALL DX, NT WILL NOT FUNCTION ANYMORE. Dont do it!

Sure it does. I run Windows NT 5.1, and DirectX works all fine here. Dink too BTW. And note that Windows NT 5.1 is better known as Windows XP. Oh, I love to prove people wrong.

the thing is i run Windows ME. and my directx version is the latest one, 8.1
