: : : To attach a midi to a map screen, open Dink Edit and press M when on a map square. Now type in a number, then rename your MIDI to that same number.
: : : Whenever Dink walks onto that screen, that MIDI will begin to play.
: : Now you mention it... I did that, and sometimes the midi plays and sometimes it don't, but whether it plays or not, I can hear my computer loading... Any idea what could be wrong?
: What is your situation when the MIDI does not play? I've noticed that when you restart a game, via the in-game command (pressing escape, etc) and not an entire program reboot, sometimes the MIDI files no longer play, wave files still work fine, its just MIDI that is effected. Why this happens, I haven't a clue... But restarting the Dink engine itself (not just the the d-mod) seems to consistently fix it.
It's always the same: I start my pc, test the mod and it either plays or dont play. Its true that wav always work, no matter what. So how do I restart the engine? I do that when I close/restart my pc, dont I?

Maybe the best thing to do is up some other (quality) d-mod and try to compare if your d-mod works worse than that. A certain amount of MIDI trouble is normal in Dink.
