I have the earthgate key, but I can't find the daughter. I never found the broom, but now the gfirl says thanks. Do I need beer? Will I ever get magic? How? Thanks

Damn, a bug, mmm, you dont need to find beer. If you want to spoil the game, here is to find the daughter:
1. Go to the shadowguild castle, east wall
2. Climb over it
3. Find a weaponshop and steal the bomb
4. Go to rablesk and blow up the locked door
5. Hey, the girl is there!
You will get magic, however, you need to earn it.
