Since point whore is the subject of some recent news, posts, poll, and arguments, I decided to look at your magic formula again. It hit me that if a file does not receive any review, how that file is going to be calculated?

It probably will just be left to a defaulted value of 5.0: Just in the middle to be fair. Once a review comes in, the 5.0 score is permanently discarded fro that file, and the new review score average is used. At least, that's my theory.

You're right, it goes to 5.0.  I think it says that on the Rankings page... nope, gotta add that.  It said it on the original posting of the Magic Formula in the news, though.
