Are YOU still using the original editor?
Well, are you? :)

I am.

Just wondering how many of you guys are too and what the advantages would be if I would switch to another editor.

I still am. That's primarily due to something I don't like about the way WinDinkedit handles editor numbers. But it looks like that will change in WC's next version.

It does has advantages. The main one's that come to mind are running faster and being able to see more than one "screen" at a time when your editing them.

I use WDE v.8 for almost everything. But I use the original for changing the hardboxes and depth que on sprites I'm adding. I also have WDE v.9 insalled but rarly use it because it gives me that feeling that my computer is possesed. ;)
Heck no

Yeah, I'm still sticking with WDE v0.8 as well... the v0.9 update seemed to crash a lot more, and I'm afraid of WC's bloatware version of the v0.9 series :)

The original DinkEdit is quite horrible... honestly.  Its really hard to visualize anything.  The only plusses with DE are the ability to select sprites hidden behind other sprites (using [ and ], I think), hardness editor, and the way it deals with sprite numbers.  Outside that...
Both
I use both. DinkEdit for mapping and sprites WinDinkEdit (v0.91) for changing putting in hardness - God that's fast and easy, just keep saving the DMOD at regular intervals for the crashing.
Re: Both
Don't blame me for the bloat ware! Blame mircosoft. Acctually after testing this for awhile, I belive 9.4 (still in alpha testing) to be very stable and have almost no bugs. Next I will attempt to add the tile and sprite hardness editor. (this should be fun..)

I also use both, WinDinkEdit only for coordinate searching for cutscenes though. Yes, I'm still someone who adds his hardness manually :)
